Fuyang Cultural Center was originally known as Fuyang Opera & Artistic Hall built in 1950, and it was renamed in 2007. It is a public cultural institution mainly for social and cultural publicity and education, popularization of cultural and artistic knowledge, counseling of mass cultural activities and cultural and artistic creation.

The new Fuyang Cultural Center is located in Shuangqingwan Park, Chengnan New District with a floor area of 9,062 square meters. It has small theaters, recording studios, functional chambers for the exhibition of calligraphy, painting and intangible cultural heritage, space for art-related events, and activity rooms for children and the elderly. The museum regularly holds various featured activities such as “Yinghuai People’s Stage”, “Village Gala”, “Our Chinese Dream—Bring Culture into Thousands of Families”to enrich the cultural life of the grassroots.
