Fuyang Preschool Teachers College is a public junior college of full-time higher education approved by the People’s Government of Fuyang City and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is the construction unit of Anhui Skill-based High-level College, unit of major group cultivation in Anhui’s “Double High” Program (to construct high-level higher vocational education institutions and high-level disciplines with Chinese characteristics), and pilot college of comprehensive reform of “all-round education”. Covering a total area of 1,277 mu, the school has Qiyuhe campus and Yuejiahu campus (under construction). The school has 6 colleges and 2 affiliated kindergartens with 6361 students registered.

The school has a rich history. Its predecessor was Fuyang Normal Training Institute founded in 1907, later renamed as Anhui Third Normal School in 1914. In 1934, it was reorganized as Anhui Yingzhou Normal School, and renamed as Fuyang Normal School in 1950. It was successfully upgraded in February 2015, and officially reestablished as Fuyang Preschool Teachers College. This is the birthplace of Fuyang Normal Education and the cradle of basic education in northern Anhui Province. Over the past hundred years, deeply rooted in northern Anhui Province, the school, with the commitment to “serving the country through education”, has cultivated more than 100,000 teachers and various types of talents for the country.(Updated in December 2023)
